Just. One. Nice. Person.

Whew!! We are in it.

December 24th and I’m up early to reclaim a bit of my day for myself. There are twinkly lights on our tree and I’m about to make an eggnog latte… but first a few thoughts about micro-resolutions. I’m a BIG fan of micro-resolutions and couldn’t recommend this book more enthusiastically. I’ll just say this: I now floss my teeth every day. Without thinking about it. What?!

Sometimes all we need is just ONE small next step... we don't need some complicated new strategy.  Sometimes just a simple thing like buying pita bread consistently so you can make these RIDICULOUSLY delicious and easy eggs.  (Kristen Miglore, thank you for that!!) Seriously, it saved dinner last night.

So for those of you who’ve been reading along in my meal co-op journey, I thought I'd just share the simple idea of Just One Nice Person.  Someone who pops to mind, maybe you work with them? What if that person made a double batch of soup and you did too. Then you share? That's it. Just one time... no pressure to keep going, but just a tiny experiment.

And I'll completely suggest that if this doesn't make you say YES, don't give it another thought.  Or maybe in January, return to it. Because December feels a tad bonkers over here. May your day be packed with good things to eat, warmth and dear people who make your smile.

Take care and may this season of light fill you up.
